In June 2022, the Supreme Court overturned the monumental Roe v. Wade, deepening divisions and leaving the anti-sexual violence movement in the middle. We recognize this is the first time in 50 years we are doing this work without the landmark protection in place.

As we grapple with our role in restoring reproductive rights, we are reminded of the work Black women in the reproductive justice movement have done and the ways in which they continue to shape a national agenda. In this panel discussion, moderated by VALOR’s Leah Aldridge, join reproductive justice movement leaders, Janette Robinson-Flint, Executive Director for Black Women for Wellness, and Ponny White, Youth Advocate at Girls for Gender Equity, for a conversation about the historical work of Black women advancing the reproductive justice movement and how we can collectively harness our voices to advance reproductive equity in action.
