Bernardo Rafael Cruz was born in El Paso, TX and raised in its sister city of Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. Bernardo joined the ACLU of Texas in 2018 as an Immigrants’ Rights Fellow based in the El Paso office. His practice includes challenging immigration enforcement abuses by federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies.
