Georgina Hernandez is a Lead Promotora and Janitor that resides in Los Angeles. Since 2014 she became a fearless and outspoken advocate for victims of sexual assault in the workplace.  Her activism began as a sexual assault victim at her workplace. In 2016, Georgina became an Industrial Promotora with the MCTF and East Los Angeles Women’s Center (ELWC).  As a Lead promotora she has certified dozens of other women to become promotoras and Self Defense instructors. As an Independent Contractor for the MCTF, she leads the work of promotoras throughout the state of California in their efforts providing trainings to other janitors.
