Paula Gomez Stordy has 30 years of experience working in the field of gender-based violence, of which 20 were in non-profit management. As Senior Director of National Training and Technical Assistance (TA) at Esperanza United, the national Latin@ resource center to end gender-based violence in the Latin@ community. She directs training and TA overseeing federal grants, programming, and TTA staff to enhance culturally responsive approaches and capacity to both mainstream and culturally specific organizations across the country.
Paula has worked in courts, hospitals, shelters, and community-based programs to enhance the safety, health and inclusion of individuals and families. As a consultant, she supported organizations with enhancing inclusion and equity, fundraising, board development, mentoring and training. Paula has served as an Adjunct Professor at Merrimack College teaching Social Justice: Theory and Practice where she conducted research on the leadership of women of color.
