In the fall of 2022, the Department of Health & Human Services Administration on Children, Youth, and Families-Family and Youth Services Bureau awarded four culturally-specific national technical assistance organizations: Minnesota Indian Women Sexual Assault Coalition (MIWSAC), Mujeres Latinas en Accion (MUJERES), National Organization of API Ending Sexual Violence (NAPIESV), and the National Sisters of Color Ending Sexual Assault (SCESA) the Family Violence Prevention and Services Discretionary Grants: Culturally Specific Sexual Assault Capacity Building Centers (CSSAC) to improve services for victims/survivors of sexual violence that are related to sexual assault experiences and their intersections with family violence, domestic violence, and dating violence in the United States, U.S. territories, and Alaska by establishing national resource centers to address sexual violence, create resources, and provide innovative programming specific for communities of color.
