Joanne Alcantara is a dreamer and doer with deep roots in the antiviolence movement. She planted seeds for anti-imperialist, 3rd world feminist organizing in the Filipino American community in her days with GABRIELA Seattle. Today, she’s a grant writer and consultant, supporting small and medium sized organizations in the Pacific Northwest to thrive.
